Thanks to KCP&L for sponsoring our social hour at the March membership meeting. Also, thank you to Kristin Riggins with KCP&L for presenting an informative program on the Energy Star program.

MEMBERSHIP APPRECIATION

Instead of a program this month, we have decided to highlight our members. Please plan to attend the April 21 meeting at Geneo’s for a great night of networking and highlighting your business. All members present will be given the opportunity to introduce themselves, tell a little about their business, pass out information and/or business cards, etc. We are having a membership drive, so, if you have someone who is interested in joining the Midland Empire HBA this would be a great time to bring them! Also, if you have any items you would like to donate for a prize drawing that would be great!

PARADE OF HOMES

Parade of Homes is scheduled for Saturday, May 30-Sunday, June 7. Homes will be open Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31 from 1-4:30 pm; Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7 from 1-4:30 pm. Builder members have received entry information, and deadlines are fast approaching (Enter by April 24 for discount; NO entries will be accepted after May 8)! Contact Belinda if you need additional information.

GOLF TOURNAMENT

The Midland Empire HBA Spring Golf Tournament is set for Friday, May 8, at Fairview Golf Course in St. Joseph. Cost is $65 per player entry fee which includes green fees, cart and lunch. Lunch will be served at 11:30. Shot gun start at 1:00 p.m. Deadline for entry is Friday, May 1. Details and entry form are included with this newsletter.

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT FOR MEETINGS

Please remember, you need to register for meetings by either e-mailing or calling me. Payments will be due at the meeting and only cash or check will be accepted as payment. Attendance at our meetings is important, so please plan to attend regularly. Also, make sure you have updated the mailing address and payment information to:
