Hope all of you are having a great summer! Although there will be no general membership meeting or event in August, we are planning A LOT of things for the fall. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend the meetings and events that are coming up.

•Tuesday, September 23, 2008 – Blue Rock Shoot and Cookout starting at 5:00 p.m.

•Friday, October 3, 2008 – Fall Golf Tournament at Fairview Golf Course.

•Thursday, October 30, 2008 – General Membership Meeting with Nationally Known Speaker Steve Easley discussing building green. This meeting is sponsored by OE Woods Lumber. (Details coming soon – please note this meeting is on Thursday).

•Tuesday, November 18, 2008 – General Membership Meeting.

•Friday, December 19, 2008 – Christmas Party at Ramada Inn.

•January 20-23, 2009 – The 2009 International Builders’ Show & Nextbuild. For more information go to www.buildersshow.com The site gives details about the show, airline discounts, hotels, and registration for the show. Early bird deadline registration for the show is Friday, November 7. They have lowered the cost to see the exhibits – four day exhibits only registration is now $50 for NAHB members. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or need assistance with registration.
